I created this product case independently while exploring WeHunt, a hunt-planning and reporting product. It was not commissioned by Natlink and was not shipped as company work.
The work covered market and product investigation, user segments and jobs, an opportunity map, product strategy, a metrics framework, roadmap, requirements and an interactive prototype.
What needed to change
Planning and reporting can become separate product surfaces even though the quality of the final report depends on information captured before and during the hunt.
How I approached it
- Distinguished research evidence from assumptions and organized the opportunity space around the complete hunt lifecycle.
- Proposed a North Star metric, quality guardrails, OKRs and a roadmap with explicit sequencing and trade-offs.
- Translated the strategy into a PRD and three connected prototype flows: planning, report review and desktop follow-up.
- Kept human review in the reporting flow and deferred speculative AI features until the core workflow was established.
The choices that shaped the work
Connect before and after
Planning creates the structured information that reporting needs, so the concept treats both as one workflow rather than two isolated feature sets.
Keep proposed metrics honest
Roadmap and OKR numbers in the case are proposed targets, not achieved outcomes. Prototype data is illustrative.
What changed — and what the result means
The result is a strategy deck, PRD and interactive prototype that make the product reasoning visible from opportunity selection through delivery detail.
Because this is an independent concept, the value of the work is the quality and coherence of the product thinking rather than a claimed market impact.
WHAT THIS REINFORCEDA prototype becomes much more useful when every screen can be traced back to a user problem, a product choice and a success measure.
